Meiigoo Compares Its Mate10 Handset With The Huawei Mate 10

The Meiigoo Mate10 is a phone which is clearly inspired by the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, and the company has actually decided to compare specs of its offering and the Huawei Mate 10, while at the same time, it revealed the Meiigoo Mate10’s spec sheet as well. The Meiigoo Mate10’s design was revealed by the company quite recently, and as you can see, this phone does resemble the Mate 10 Pro quite a bit, especially from the back. The device not only has a very similar camera setup, but it also has that strip which breaks the one-color design on the back of the device.

Having said that, the Meiigoo Mate10 will ship with a 5.72-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, compared to Huawei Mate 10’s 5.9-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) panel. As you can see, these two devices sport different display aspect ratios, though the Huawei Mate 10’s display comes with a higher resolution, but also a considerably higher price tag. Both of these devices have curved glass installed on top of their displays, while a dual camera setup is also present on the back side of both phones. The Meiigoo Mate10 comes with 16 and 5-megapixel shooters, while you will find 20 and 12-megapixel cameras on the back of the Huawei Mate 10. The Meiigoo Mate10 also has two cameras on its front side, 13 and 5-megapixel ones, while the Huawei Mate 10 comes with a single 8-megapixel shooter up front. It’s also worth noting that both devices ship with a dual-LED flash on the back.

MediaTek’s Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor fuels the Meiigoo Mate 10, while the Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core SoC ships with the Huawei Mate 10. The Kirin 970 is a lot more powerful than the Helio P23, but MediaTek’s offering is quite compelling as far as mid-range phones are concerned, and not many people need an SoC as powerful as the Kirin 970. Both phones actually ship with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, while you will find a 3,500mAh non-removable battery in the Meiigoo Mate10. The Huawei Mate 10 actually comes with a slightly larger battery pack, a 4,000mAh non-removable battery. The Meiigoo Mate10 offers 5V/2A fast charging for its battery, while you’ll be getting Huawei’s Super Charge in the Huawei Mate 10’s case. The Meiigoo Mate10 offers a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, while the Huawei Mate 10 sports a front-facing one. When it comes to price, the Huawei Mate 10 is considerably more expensive, it costs over $800, while the Meiigoo Mate10 will cost only $239.99 when it becomes available, and that will happen soon, but we still do not know when exactly.
