Hands-On With The Ecovacs WINBOT X And DEEBOT OZMO 930 – CES 2018

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas is currently ongoing, and those of you interested in robot cleaning products will be pleased to hear that we’ve managed to get some hands-on time with the Ecovacs Robotics’ WINBOT X and DEEBOT OZMO 930 robot cleaning gadgets. Hands-on images with both of these robot cleaners are included in the gallery down below, and if you’d like to know more about them, read on.

Those of you who are not that familiar with Ecovacs Robotics’ products should know that the WINBOT series of products stands for window cleaning robots, while the DEEBOT OZMO 930 is the company’s new robot vacuum. The first WINBOT-branded gadget was announced way back in 2011, and the new WINBOT X adapts to the window it’s cleaning, says Ecovacs Robotics. The WINBOX X is a wireless window cleaning robot, and it does resemble previous models that the company introduced. Ecovacs claims that the WINBOT X has four new safety features, though the company did not elaborate on that just yet. As you can see, this gadget has a handle on it, and four spots where it attaches to your window. Those of you who are interested in getting the WINBOT X should know that it will be released in the second quarter of this year, and that it will cost $449.

The DEEBOT OZMO 930 is the company’s new robot vacuum cleaner, while the DEEBOT OZMO 610 was also announced, though we only managed to get images of the DEEBOT OZMO 930. Both of these vacuum cleaners will become available in the second quarter of this year, just like the WINBOT X, and they will cost $399 and $599, respectively. Having said that, the DEEBOT OZMO 930 definitely looks like a vacuum cleaner, though it sport that clean design that most people like, and it will go along pretty much every setup you may have in your house. The DEEBOT OZMO 930 has the ‘Smart Navi’ laser scan mapping, which is usually used in autonomous vehicles, and it lets it map the room, so that it can offer better performance when it comes to cleaning. Adaptive Floor Sensing (AFS) technology is also included here, and so is OZMO mopping with an electronically-controlled water pump, sensors that monitor water flow, and controls to stop the flow. You can connect this vacuum to a dedicated app, and it comes with both Amazon Alexa and Google Home integration.
