At the end of last month, the BLUBOO X image and some info regarding the phone appeared, and now our source at the company has shared more info regarding this handset, along with a new image of the product. The BLUBOO X will clearly be an iPhone X clone, not only by its name but by its design as well. This smartphone will sport a notch at the top of the display, and it will ship with rather thin bezels, read on.
The device will be made out of metal and glass, while it will sport a dual camera setup on the back, a dual camera setup that resembles the one utilized on the iPhone X: The bottom bezels will be thicker than the side bezels on the device, and all of the physical keys will be included on the right. The BLUBOO X’s dual camera setup will protrude on the back, and the phone will sport a Type-C USB port at the bottom. BLUBOO’s branding is located on the back of this device, and the phone’s loudspeaker will be placed at the bottom as well. Now, our source at the company confirmed that this will be the world’s first smartphone to sport a 19:9 display aspect ratio. To be more precise, the BLUBOO X will ship with a 5.85-inch ‘full-screen’ display. The device will be 8.5mm thick, says the source, and it will be quite light it seems. Android 8.1 Oreo will come pre-installed on the phone, and our source also claims that the device will be quite affordable, though we do not know how much will it cost nor do we have any more spec info to share with you.
Having said that, the BLUBOO X will either be an entry-level or a mid-range smartphone, though the latter is more probable. One of MediaTek’s processors will probably fuel this phone, though we’re only guessing at this point. BLUBOO had released quite a few smartphones in 2017, and it will be interesting to see how will the company’s consumers react to the upcoming iPhone X clone. The company is expected to release more info regarding this phone in the near future, and it will hopefully be announced in the first half of the year, though we’ll see what will happen.
