The OnePlus 5T leaks are quite persistent lately, we’ve seen quite a few of them in the last couple of weeks, and several new images have just surfaced as well. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll be able to see three new images of the alleged OnePlus 5T which is due to launch in the coming weeks. Several reports suggested that the phone will arrive in November, while some of them said that OnePlus has no plans of announcing the OnePlus 5T, and will, instead, jump straight to the OnePlus 6. Now, if the latter info is accurate, then OnePlus could launch the OnePlus 6 earlier than expected.
In any case, the newly-leaked images are showing off what seems to be a leaked listing of the OnePlus 5T on the company’s official website. One of these images actually gives us a really good look at the phone itself, and the device looks like the rebranded version of the OPPO R11s, at least based on leaks of that phone, as the OPPO R11s will be announced on November 2, but a ton of images surfaced thus far. Now, if the OnePlus 5T ends up resembling the OPPO R11s, that would not exactly be surprising, as the OnePlus 5 is essentially a rebranded OPPO R11 as far as the design is concerned, even though the OnePlus 5 is quite a bit more powerful. It’s also worth noting that the OnePlus 5 is no longer available for purchase in most markets, including Europe and the US, which suggests that a new version could be on the way as well. OnePlus’ CEO, Carl Pei, actually said, via Twitter, that the demand for the OnePlus 5 was higher than the company anticipated, pushing that as a reason why the OnePlus 5 is no longer available, but all in all, it seems like a new variant is coming, OnePlus probably would not let its stock dry up just like that if it is not planning to release a new phone.
In any case, as you can see, the OnePlus 5T will sport considerably thinner bezels than the OnePlus 5, but chances are it will also sport a larger display. The OnePlus 5T is expected to arrive with a 5.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) AMOLED display, while its display will also sport rounded edges. The device will probably be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, and sport 6GB or 8GB of RAM, depending on which variant you opt to purchase. The OnePlus 5T will, almost certainly sport a dual camera setup on the back, and it will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, with the company’s OxygenOS installed on top of it.
