Real Moto to Air August 27 on ABC
The fifth installment in the Real Series 2017 schedule, Real Moto, launches today, August 16, with five never-before-seen FMX video parts debuting on XGames.com at 12 p.m. ET. A full World of X Games episode will air August 27 on ABC, featuring all five video parts, behind-the-scenes footage and athlete interviews. The videos will be judged by a panel of industry experts and their selections for which athlete/filmer teams will be awarded X Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be announced on the ABC broadcast. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winner. Fans will also have a chance to view and vote for their favorite videos online at XGames.com/RealMoto, with the Fan Favorite winning an additional cash prize.
The five Real Moto athletes invited to the 2017 competition are: Axell Hodges, Jackson Strong, Kris Foster, Ronnie Renner and Tyler Bereman.
A forum for the world’s best riders and filmers to create premium video content, the Real Series brings together the worlds of competitive action sports and core video parts. Originally launching with the Real Street competition in the summer of 2010, the Real Series has now grown to include six video competitions – with Snowboard, Ski, BMX, Moto and Wakeboard disciplines now added to the lineup – and more on the way in 2018.
The final competition in the Real Series for 2017, Real Wake Driven by MasterCraft, will drop never before seen wakeboard video parts September 6. The schedule is subject to change.
