We expect to see a lot of cool new products at Mobile World Congress 2017. It’s only two weeks until the event starts so we’re excited to see what’s in store.
Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu posted this teaser, showing a man running and looking at a watch with a tagline of “Made for free spirits.” It looks like the company will be unveiling a new smartwatch at MWC 2017.
It’s unlikely to be a dedicated fitness watch, since the Huawei Fit was just recently released. This might be a teaser for the Huawei Watch 2, and maybe the company has a sport oriented model much like Motorola did with the 360.
Though Android Wear went through a slow period, Google and LG just released two new smartwatches running Android Wear 2.0. We’re hoping to see a resurgence of smartwatches in 2017, and the Huawei Watch 2 will hopefully be a great option.
