Saving your favorite locations in Google Maps was never a particularly good experience. You could save places and access the list, but that list grew long quickly. Google is now changing that with the latest update to Google Maps.
The update allows you to create lists of places, which means organizing that long list of favorites into multiple categories. You can also share these lists with friends with a few clicks. For example, you can make a list for a vacation area and give it to friends when they travel there.
To access your lists of saved places, swipe from the left and click “Your Places.” The update is rolling out to everyone on both iOS and Android today so let us know when you see it!
