2016 Honda Accord Safety Features

The 2016 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe earned two impressive safety awards—the 2016 Accord earned top marks with a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration* and was selected as a Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick+ when equipped with Honda Sensing.

The 2016 Honda Accord is packed with advanced safety features, starting with the Honda-exclusive ACE body design that enhances occupant protection and distributes crash energy more evenly. Other safety features include a tire pressure monitoring system, a multi-angle rearview camera, and the Honda Sensing suite. The suite includes driver-assistance features like Road Departure Mitigation, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning.
