Sprint has become the exclusive wireless retailer of Amazon Prime, with the most recent promotion surfacing in May that saw subscribers getting a year’s worth of the premium Amazon feature by signing up for a specific plan.
Sprint customers have the ability to add an Amazon Prime subscription to their bill for $10.99 per month, and now Sprint’s offering an extra bonus on top of that for folks who sign up during the month of July. Doing so will net you 60 days of Prime for free. After the 60 days are up, Sprint says customers can either continue with the subscription (and be charged $10.99 per month) or cancel the Prime subscription.
Sprint announcing the promotion just in time for Amazon Prime Day, which will go live on July 12, is probably not a coincidence.
If you’re a Sprint customer or plan to become one this month, here’s how you can get the Amazon Prime promotion:
- Visit www.sprint.com/amazonprime, call 1-(800)-SPRINT1Call: 1-(800)-SPRINT1 or go to the nearest Sprint store to sign up for Amazon Prime on your Sprint account.
- After adding Amazon Prime to a Sprint account, the customer will receive a text message with an activation link to complete registration.
- Once registration is complete, the customer can immediately begin to enjoy all the benefits of Amazon Prime.
- Customers can also access preloaded or downloaded Amazon apps for easy access to Prime content on compatible smartphones.
