According to the description offered by Vieilles Annonces of this found photo depicting the Minnesota state capitol building, the folks in the photo were getting ready for the 1959 Memorial Day parade, and we presume that meant as participants. But, given the dearth of empty parking spaces around the capitol building that day, we have to wonder where all the other paraders are. If you see them, point them out.
