Rallycross: First rollout for Münnich Motorsport and their new Audi rallycross racer

By Johan Laubscher

Exciting news came from all-inkl.com münnich motorsport today. The team has completed the first rollout of their new Audi rallycross race car.

During 2012 Münnich Motorsport had announced their intentions to build an Audi A3/S3 rallycross vehicle for the German/European Rallycross Championship, where the team has been fielding Skodas for a number of seasons. The original announcement included an Audi S3 render/design from
berzerkdesign.de.

The team uploaded various build photos onto their Facebook page during January 2013, which depicted the development of the car known as their “S3 SuperCar”.

Nine months later and Münnich Motorsport has released the first photo of the car, following their rollout today. The car looks fantastic with a menacing and aggressive appearance. Visually the bodywork is similar to that of the Audi RS 3.

More information and photos of the car is expected to be seen in the weeks to come.

Gallery: Quattro Legende - Club Audi Sport Suisse (CASS)

By Johan Laubscher

A tremendous Audi Club event was held over this past weekend. The “Quattro Legende”, hosted from Thursday until Saturday, featured a huge line-up of Audi road, race and rally cars. Club Audi Sport Suisse (CASS) was also at the event with its members and as an event partner.

The highlight of the event was a hillclimb for the Audi cars, described as a: “hillclimb to the Bavarian clouds!”

Over 200 Audis were registered, including a large number of high performance Audi road cars, also sporting original quattro and RS machinery.
The major attraction was the addition of original Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 rally cars and S1 replicas. Many Audi quattro rally and hillclimb cars also took part, adding to the sights and sounds from this terrific Audi occasion.

We have included a set of videos and photos below, allowing you to see some of the great cars at the event.

The FULL 400+ photo gallery can be seen on the Club Audi Sport Suisse (CASS) Facebook page HERE.
