Lexus Japan has released a special edition IS sedan with Kachiiro Blue wood trim inspired by Samurai warriors:
Using walnut as a base, the trim is finished with a technique developed for hunting rifles. The wood is then hand-painted with four layers, including an aluminum coat for brightness:
The I Blue Lexus IS sedan is now arriving in Japanese dealerships now, with the IS 300h, IS 300, and IS 350 all available with the option. Pricing starts at ¥5,416,000 for the IS 300 F SPORT.
