Mitsubishi E-Evolution at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show
For the past few years, Mitsubishi has been hinting heavily at the new direction the brand is intending to take with its upcoming vehicles. In late 2017, the automotive brand announced its intention to produce 6 all-new models and 5 redesigns, starting with the Eclipse Cross. At the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show, Mitsubishi showed off its latest concept model to come to fruition, the e-Evolution, which is described as an electric sport utility vehicle.
Performance
The new Mitsubishi e-Evolution will run on two high-torque and high-performance electric motors, which will be powered by a high-capacity battery system. The model will also be outfitted with a triple motor 4WD system, complemented by a new Dual Motor Active Yaw Control for better control in a variety of driving conditions.
Artificial Intelligence
The e-Evolution Concept features an AI system that augments the driver’s abilities. Outfitted with an array of sensors, the AI system is able to read changes in the road and traffic conditions and coordinate with the driver to offer peak performance and road security.
