When Razer announced its new Razer Phone 2 flagship earlier this month, the company specifically called out the device’s support for Verizon in the U.S. Unfortunately, now that the Razer Phone 2 is hitting buyers’ hands, they’re running into some problems on Verizon.
Razer today confirmed that it’s aware that Verizon support is not currently enabled on the Razer Phone 2. The company says that it’s working to get the issue fixed as soon as possible, and Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan says that Verizon service should be working on the Razer Phone 2 “in a couple of days”.
We’re aware that Verizon is not enabled on the #RazerPhone 2 right now and are working to enable it ASAP—hang in there!

Some Razer Phone 2 owners have posted about their issues getting their phone to work on Verizon, with folks bouncing between Razer and Verizon support. This is likely pretty frustrating, as these people just spend hundreds of dollars on a new phone that Razer said would work on Verizon. It sounds like the issue is that the Razer Phone 2 hasn’t been fully certified for use on Verizon’s network, despite Razer previously saying its new phone was compatible with Verizon. Thankfully, that problem is now being addressed. Have any of you ordered a Razer Phone 2 for use on Verizon?
For those ordering the Razer Phone 2, @verizon service will be switched on in a couple of days – apologies for the delay and thanks for the ongoing support!
