Xiaomi EU Is Unofficial MIUI 10 ROM For Xiaomi’s Smartphones

Xiaomi EU has just released an unofficial MIUI 10 ROM for those of you who are eager to get a new version of Xiaomi’s OS on your smartphone. Xiaomi had introduced MIUI 10 last month in China, and the global launch followed soon after, the company has even announced which devices will get the update and when. Having said that, not a single global Xiaomi model did not get the update yet (stable version), and chances are you will have to wait a couple of more months in order to get a stable, global version of MIUI 10 on your device, so you may want to try out this third-party ROM while you’re waiting.

Xiaomi EU ROM is now available for the following Xiaomi smartphones: Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 6, Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, Mi MIX, Mi MIX 2, Mi MIX 2S, Mi Note 2, Redmi 5, and the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Xiaomi EU ROM is based on MIUI China Developer ROM, as far as features are concerned, and it comes with a ton of features that you’d usually find in MIUI 10, plus a number of additional goodies, of course. There are a number of languages included in Xiaomi EU ROM, including both Mandarin and English, amongst others. If you install this ROM, you will get Xiaomi’s full screen gestures, new system sounds, new MIUI 10 UI, Mi AI machine learning program, face unlock… and a number of other features that are included in MIUI 10. Now, as already mentioned, Xiaomi EU included a number of its own features in this ROM, such as search gestures, screen off animations, charging sound, optimized RAM consumption, 5×3 layout option, and a ton more features / options, you can find a full list of these by following the source link down below.

Installing Xiaomi EU’s ROM is not that difficult, but only if you know what you’re doing, so if you haven’t flashed a ROM before, you should inform yourself really well, or skip the process entirely, as you may brick your device in the process. First and foremost, you will need to unlock your phone’s bootloader, and you will need to install a third-party recovery, such as TWRP. There are a number of other steps that you need to take, and some of them include a PC, so if you’re interested in installing this ROM, all the necessary instructions can be found on the source link.
