Support Pages For Two Upcoming Samsung Tablets Appear Online

Support pages for two upcoming tablet offerings of the South Korean tech giant Samsung have recently appeared. The support page for the tablet with the model number SM-T830, which is reportedly a variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, has appeared on the Samsung’s French website. Meanwhile, the support page for SM-T595, which is rumored to be launched as the Galaxy Tab A2 XL, has appeared on the Irish-language website of the tech giant. Unfortunately, the support pages did not provide any additional information regarding the specifications or the software features of the two tablets.

Nonetheless, previous leaks and reports have already detailed the specifications of the two tablet offerings. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset from the semiconductor firm Qualcomm. This SoC is comprised of an octa-core 64-bit CPU running at a maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz and the Adreno 540 GPU. Another key feature of the Galaxy Tab S4 is its 10.5-inch display, which will reportedly have a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. In contrast, previous iterations of the Galaxy Tab S tablets all sported displays with an aspect ratio of 4:3. The Galaxy Tab S4 will also reportedly include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal flash storage, and it is rumored that the tablet will ship with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 7-megapixel front-facing camera. A recent rumor claimed that the Galaxy Tab S4 will likely launch alongside the Gear S4 at the IFA 2018.

On the other hand, there is considerably less information available about the Galaxy Tab A2 XL, although previous reports have mentioned that the tablet with the model number SM-T595 could instead launch as the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018). This tablet is expected to sport either a mid-range Exynos processor or a Snapdragon 600-series chipset. The device will likely ship with a 10.1-inch display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels, and it will reportedly be available in two color variants, which are black and grey. The tablet is expected to ship with Android 8.1 Oreo pre-installed, although it is likely that Samsung’s proprietary skin will run on top of Google’s operating system.
