It’s not exactly a secret that Google Assistant can make movies for you, using your pictures that are available in Google Photos, and the Google Photos app has just received a new option in that department. If you use Google Photos, you now have a new ‘Love Story’ option, which will essentially make Google Assistant create a love story-themed movie for you using media that you make available to it.
This option celebrates “romantic relationships”, says Google, as its name says, and it “works best if you have lots of photos of you and your significant other”. After you choose two people that you’d like to include in this movie, Google Photos will let you know that “it may take a while” for it to finish the movie, and you will get a notification once it’s done. The length of the process will depend on the number of clips you have, of course, though you can edit that movie after Google Assistant makes it for you, you can also add new photos and videos as part of it, and change the background theme music as well. The ‘Love Story’ movie option joins a number of other options that were previously been made available in Google Photos, including Valentine’s Day, Dogs, Cats, and six others, as nine of them were available before ‘Love Story’ arrived.
The Google Photos app received a ton of updates since Google released it three years ago, and in 2018 alone we’ve seen quite a few additions to the app. Google added the aforementioned editing tool, which you can use to edit movies that Google Assistant creates, while some movie options have been added as well. Google Photos has been one of the company’s most popular applications in the last couple of years, and since May 2015 over a billion people downloaded it. Google Photos is currently holding a 4.5-star rating in the Play Store, and it is available on iOS as well, and the same can be said for desktop OS’ as well, as you can access it via any browser. The aforementioned ‘Love Story’ movie option should already be available to you via the ‘Assistant’ tab in Google Photos, if it’s not, it will be soon.
