Tivoli Audio today unveiled its new personal audio collection, the Tivoli Go. With “Go” in the name, this collection is all about making use of audio products while on the move and away from the home. Along with announcing the new collection, Tivoli also unveiled the two debut products from the Go family, the first of which is the Tivoli Andiamo Bluetooth speaker. With this being an on-the-go product it is an ultra compact Bluetooth speaker with the main body encased in aluminium to add to a more durable design. In addition, a leather carry strap has been included to make it easier to carry the speaker, or attach it to a bag or bicycle. Tivoli Audio has yet to provide firm details on the specs of the Andiamo with the exception the speaker’s battery is rated to offer up to 20 hours of usage on a single charge. The new Andiamo Bluetooth speaker will become available in two main color options consisting of silver with a brown leather strap and black with a black leather strap.
The second new Go product is the Tivoli Fonico, and this is a set of Bluetooth earbuds designed to offer a wireless listening experience. In fact, these are what is often referred to as true wireless earbuds as the Fonico do not include any cables at all – none needed to connect to a playback device or to connect the two earbuds to one another. Bluetooth 4.2 is in use here and these earbuds have been rated to an IPX7 level for protection against water encounters. As these are true wireless earphones, they also do come with a carry case which doubles as a charger, with the company stating the case is able to offer an additional nine hours of battery life as and when needed.
While both of these products have now been announced, neither are available to buy yet with Tivoli Audio explaining both are due to hit the market in the coming months. For example, the Andiamo Bluetooth speaker is set to begin shipping in June of this year along with a $199 retail price, while the Fonico true wireless earbuds are expected to arrive in September, priced at $129. In addition to launching the Go collection, Tivoli Audio also announced two new products that are joining the company’s ART collection. These include a new standalone Wi-Fi CD player and a new system for the home which among other things supports digital radio. Prices were not announced for either of these ART products although both are expected to become available in September.
