Last month, the spy video of what appears to be a the Mercedes-Benz GLE surfaced online. The clip only shows the exterior of the heavily camouflaged vehicle though. Recently, the same source was able to get closer to the SUV and finally get to see what’s inside it.
Although clad in heavy zebra camo, the previous spy shots and videos of the GLE hint that it will have a complete overhaul in its styling. The corners of the vehicle look more curvaceous than its predecessor, which design dates back to when it still carried the ML moniker.
Peeking inside reveals a completely new tech within the GLE. The interior is highlighted by two wide touchscreen displays. A new layout in the controls seem to be in place too. The tech is similar to the MBUX infotainment system previewed at CES this January. However, it should be noted that the one shown in the event caters to the compact cars of Mercedes like the A-Class.
With that, we expect the tech of the GLE to be a notch up compared to it. After all, the E-Class, CLS and S-Class already have twin 12.3-inch screens while the A-Class is reportedly carrying a pair of 10.25-inch displays only.

The new Mercedes-Benz GLE will likely make its debut this year. It could come as early as the Geneva Motor Show. The new model might benefit from the all-new inline-six engines of Mercedes.
