DOOGEE is planning to announce a smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner this year. Our source at the company said that the phone will be called the DOOGEE V, and that it will debut sometime this year. In addition to an in-display fingerprint scanner, the device will also sport a ‘full-screen’ flexible display, claims the source. On top of all that, our source has shared a couple of renders of this smartphone, and the company has actually released a first teaser video for the DOOGEE V. Now, to make things even more interesting, the DOOGEE V’s flexible display also surfaced on YouTube, though the video has been shared by a third-party source, it seems.

We are expecting to see quite a few smartphones with in-display fingerprint scanners this year, as Synaptics not only announced, but already started to mass produce its in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone sports really thin bezels all around, and it seems like all of its buttons will sit on the right, while its dual camera setup will protrude on the back a bit.
Our source also claims that the DOOGEE V will ship with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, just like one of the OnePlus 5T variants, and in addition to that, the phone will sport 128GB of internal storage.
