According to a report by 91mobiles, the Meizu PRO 7 will land in India soon. Meizu actually started teasing the arrival of the Meizu PRO 7 to India last November, but neither the Meizu PRO 7 nor Meizu PRO 7 Plus arrived just yet. Well, according to the aforementioned report, the Meizu PRO 7 will arrive to the country by the end of the month. The two phones were originally announced in China last July, so it’s somewhat surprising that they haven’t reached India just yet, as Meizu tends to announce its devices in India not long after they arrive in China.
That being said, the source also claims that the Meizu PRO 7 will be priced under Rs. 30,000 ($473) in the country, while it also claims that the Meizu PRO 7 Plus will not be coming at all. As most of you know, the Meizu PRO 7 Plus is not only larger than the Meizu PRO 7, but it’s also more powerful, as it’s the company’s flagship, while the Meizu PRO 7 belongs in the mid-range category of smartphones. We have actually reviewed the Meizu PRO 7 Plus last year, though we did not get a chance to do the same with the Meizu PRO 7, though the two phones look the same (save for their size difference), and they both ship with a secondary display on the back, which is one of the main selling points of both smartphones. That being said, the Meizu PRO 7 sports a 5.2-inch fullHD Super AMOLED main display, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of native storage. The device is fueled by the Helio P25 64-bit octa-core processor, and it sports a 3,000mAh non-removable battery on the inside.
The Meizu PRO 7 is made out of metal, and its secondary display measures 2-inches, and that is also an OLED panel (536 x 240 pixels). Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on this smartphone, along with Meizu’s Flyme 6 UI. Two 12-megapixel snappers are placed on the back of this phone, while a single 16-megapixel camera can be found on the front side of this smartphone. The Meizu PRO 7 offers 32-bit audio, and it also comes with a front-facing fingerprint scanner, which doubles as the device’s capacitive back key, and also its physical home button. Two SIM card slots are available here, and the phone launched in Black, Silver, Gold and Red color variants in China, some of which will become available in India, though we doubt that all of those color options will reach the country.
