Hisense P9 Certified With A 6,000mAh Battery, AMOLED Display

At the end of last month, Hisense’s ‘full screen’ smartphone got certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC), the Hisense HLTE500T, and yet another Hisense-branded device just showed up on the site, the Hisense P9. Having said that, this seems to be the company’s upcoming smartphone, which will, unlike many new phones out there, sport a display with a regular 16:9 aspect ratio, read on.

If you take a look at the provided images down below, you will immediately notice that this is a rugged smartphone, it looks like it can take a hit, that’s for sure. The phone sports a dual camera setup on the back, next to which lies an LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner is also placed on the back of this smartphone. Hisense’s branding is visible on the back of the Hisense P9 as well, and at the bottom of its back side, you will notice a loudspeaker. The power / lock key is located on the right-hand side of the Hisense P9, while the volume up and down buttons are included on the left, along with an additional physical key, which you will probably be able to assign to any action you prefer. Now, it seems like this phone will be made out of metal, while the company will include some rubber into the mix as well, but we’re only guessing based on the provided images, Hisense will release more info once the phone drops.

The Hisense P9 will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of expandable storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). The device will be fueled by an octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz, and Android 7.1.2 Nougat will come pre-installed on the Hisense P9. A 12-megapixel snapper will be placed on the back of the Hisense P9, though we do not have the info regarding the second camera which is located on the back of the device. A 16-megapixel shooter will be included on the front side of the Hisense P9, while a 6,000mAh battery will also be a part of this package. The phone will arrive in Black color only, according to TENAA, while it will measure 167 x 80.4 x 13.5mm, and weigh 260 grams.
