The phone is currently available for pre-order for $259.99 from GearBest, and if you buy it, you’ll also get an opportunity to purchase the Elephone ELE Listen 1 wireless earphones for only $9.99. The Elephone S8 is a mid-range smartphone which is made out of metal and glass, the phone sports a front-facing fingerprint scanner, and rather thin bezels. The phone can also be purchased in Black and Blue color variants, those two colors have been available from the get-go, though. The device sports a single camera on the back, and its power / lock, volume up and volume down buttons are all placed on the right side. The Elephone S8 comes with a 6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, while it is fueled by the MediaTek Helio X25 64-bit deca-core processor. The device also comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of non-expandable native storage, while Android 7.1 Nougat comes pre-installed on the phone. A 21-megapixel shooter is included on the back side of the phone, while an 8-megapixel camera can be found on the front side of the device.
The Elephone S8 also sports a dual SIM setup on the inside, you’ll be able to find two nano SIM card slots, while the device ships with a 4,000mAh battery which is not removable. The Elephone S8 offers support for Bluetooth 4.0, while you will find a Type-C USB port on the bottom of this phone, where the device’s speaker is also located.
