LG has just made its latest flagship handset, the LG V30 Plus available for purchase in India. The device was launched in the South Asian country a couple of days back and can now be bought from Amazon India for Rs. 44,990 ($700). It is being sold by electronics distributor Appario Retail Private Ltd on the e-commerce platform, and a few perks are being offered to customers for a limited time. This includes a complimentary wireless charger for the LG V30 Plus, and also a free one time screen replacement which is valid for six months from the date of purchase. Amazon Exchange is also available for the product, meaning customers may trade-in a working handset and receive a discount of Rs. 2000 ($31) off the LG V30 Plus.
The LG V30 Plus is essentially identical to the LG V30 in terms of specs, save for the internal storage which is 128GB instead of the standard 64GB available on the LG V30. Being a flagship smartphone, the LG V30 Plus packs top of the line specs, and comes with a premium chassis made out of metal and glass. On the front, it sports a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440, and with thin bezels surrounding it. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with an Adreno 540 GPU. Memory wise, the LG V30 Plus packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with the option to expand it up to 2TB via a microSD card. Optics are handled by a dual-camera setup on the rear featuring a 16-megapixel and a 13-megapixel shooter. This package is assisted by laser autofocus and a LED flash. Meanwhile, selfies are handled by a 5-megapixel camera located on the front.
Keeping the lights on is a 3,300mAh non-removable battery which comes with support for fast charging and also wireless charging. This dual-SIM flagship from LG ships with Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of box, with LG’s UX 6.0+ skin. On top of that, the LG V30 Plus comes with IP68 certification, meaning it is water and dust resistant, and MIL-STD 810G certification is also part of the package. It is one of the few phones to come with Bluetooth 5.0 and also 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC which should provide quality audio to consumers.
