2018 Honda Pilot Release Date

2018 Honda Pilot Engine Performance and Fuel Economy
Powering the 2018 Honda Pilot will be a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. The engine is paired with either a six-speed or nine-speed automatic transmission. Both all-wheel drive and two-wheel drive models are available. Performance numbers for the engine check in at 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque.

Fuel economy estimates for the 2018 Pilot will vary based on the drive system selected. Two-wheel drive models are rated at up to 20 miles per gallon in the city and 27 mpg on the highways for 23 mpg combined. All-wheel drive models check in at up to 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway for 22 mpg combined.*
Pilot Technology Systems and Features
A variety of comfort, safety and technology features will be offered on the 2018 Honda Pilot. The SUV offers the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance systems. Honda Sensing includes Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
The Pilot also offers a standard multi-angle rearview camera and an available blind-spot information system with Rear Cross Traffic Monitor. Additional technology features offered on the SUV include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
