8 signs that you are overthinking things!



 

Not rarely we think of the situations or conversations that happen during the day. But some of us think of every situation and everything that has happened and this leads to unnecessary stress and bad mood.

Here are 8 signs that you are overthinking things:

  • You want to find some meaning in everything

You have said something to a work colleague and you are thinking about it all day long or someone has looked you strangely and you analyze it for fifteen minutes. These things mean that you are overthinking things too much.

  • You analyze others too much

If you are overwhelmed by crowded places and you keep thinking about the people, their way of walking, talking or acting. This is another sign that you are overthinking things.

  • You act less and you think more

If you think too much about your options but you don’t take any of them that means that you are overthinking things. Stop thinking, choose something and stick with it.

  • You hate small-talks

People who are over-thinkers don’t want small-talk, such as the weather or other people, they want to find their purpose in life and talk about something meaningful.

  • Seeking new information

If you are one of those persons who want to know everything and one information leads you to another that means that you are an over-thinker. You want to know everything about how the world works.

  • You think that there is a reason for everything

You can’t simply leave the things as they are, you think that there is a reason for everything it happens and you want to find the solution. But, you can’t change everything and some things aren’t in your hands, so stop overthinking because the thing might start getting on your nerves.

  • You are excited when you have solved the problem

If you are overwhelmed when you find the solution to the problem that you have had and this happens to you constantly it means that, you are an over-thinker.

  • You want activities that calm you

Overthinking is tiring and due to that you enjoy long walks, meditation, and some exercises that can calm your mind and relax you.
