Garlic
The garlic is widely known for its antibacterial, antiviral, and antimicrobial properties. You can reduce the swelling and the pain if you simply put a garlic clove into your ear or a few drops of garlic oil.
Add a clove of minced garlic in some olive oil and leave it for twenty minutes. Strain it and add a few drops of it in your infected ear.

Coconut oil
Heat 2 cloves of garlic and 1/8 cup of coconut oil. Remove it from the heat after 5 minutes simmering. Wait until it cools down and drop a few drops into your ear. Repeat this two times per day until you notice some improvements.

Honey
Honey is also known for its antibacterial properties and therefore it is great for ear infections. Simply add a few drops into the painful ear and you will reduce the inflammation.

Olive oil
This is a very safe and simple method. Just add a few drops of warm olive oil into the infected ear.

Ginger
Ginger tea can soothe the pain in your throat but for your ear infection simply grate some fresh ginger and squeeze the juice, warm it up and add 4 drops in your infected ear.

Apple cider vinegar
Warm up some apple cider vinegar and add a few drops of it into your ear. Lie down and cover it with a cloth.

Onion
Cut the onion in a half and remove the inner rings. Put the outer ones in the oven at 150oC or 300oF. When they start to steam remove them and wrap them in a towel. Put the towel on the painful ear and it will relieve your pain.
