The name Stonic is a combination of the words ‘Speedy’ and ‘Tonic’, the latter of which refers to the first note of a musical scale. This name indicates the highly agile and well-balanced nature of this soon-to-be segment champion.
Designed and conceived at Kia’s design center in Europe, the Stonic boasts sweeping lines that amplify its bold appearance. The model also draws inspiration from the Kia Rio and the Provo concept that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013. As Kia’s most customizable car yet, the Stonic will feature a range of customer options for both the exterior and the interior.
