2018 Honda Odyssey Safety Features



The newest version of the Honda Odyssey offers multiple systems designed to aid with driver assistance and safety. The list of 2018 Honda Odyssey safety features includes multiple systems that help expand the awareness of the driver.

2018 Honda Odyssey Safety Updates

Multiple updates and changes have been made to the safety feature offerings on the 2017 Honda Odyssey. The minivan utilizes Honda’s next-generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACM) body structure. The availability of the Honda Sensing features has also been expanded to include all trim levels above the EX model.

The Honda Sensing collection of features includes multiple systems. These include:

  • Collision Mitigating Braking System (CMBS).
  • Forward Collision Warning (FCW).
  • Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS).
  • Road Departure Mitigation (RDM).
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).

Other safety features offered on the 2018 Odyssey include:

  • Driver and front passenger knee airbags.
