The latest update to Waze for Android takes the custom voices one step further. Previously, you could download celebrity voices to guide you to your destination, but now you can record your own.
Waze will let you record all the generic voice prompts so you can let yourself guide you. Of course, it’s unlikely anyone would want their own voice coming from their phone, but having family or friends add their voice is a nice touch.
You won’t get localized voice navigation with this feature, but it should still be useful to some people. Download the latest version of Waze from the Play Store and let us know how it works out!
