ZenFone 3 Max Gets The Power Master App In A New Update

ASUS has started rolling out an update for their ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) smartphone. The ZenFone 3 Max is ASUS’ budget smartphone which was announced back in July last year, and it got some nice new features and improvements in this update. We’re looking at a v13.1.0.56 update here, and in addition to adding a new app to the mix, it also optimizes ZenFone 3 Max’s fingerprint scanner performance, while it also improves the phone’s camera, which is always a welcomed addition, of course.

Now, the app that ASUS added along with this update is called ‘Power Master’, and it has been added to ‘excel battery performance’, according to the company. In addition to the aforementioned improvements, ASUS changelog shares some more info. The company has updated the PLMN ID list along with this update, while they’ve also fixed the customer service issue in Italy. The ZenFone 3 Max’s display performance has also been updated, its touch performance, to be more exact, while the company has updated the charging LED notification effects as well. That is more or less it as far as this update is concerned, you should get a notification once the update is available for download for your specific device, though you can always manually check if it is available as well, of course. All you have to do is navigate to ‘Settings’, then hit ‘About’ and locate ‘System Update’, once you do that and hit ‘System Update’, the phone will check if an update is available for your smartphone or not.

The ZenFone 3 Max is a metal-clad smartphone which comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. This smartphone sports a 5.2-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, 2GB / 3GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6737M 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz, while the company included a 4,130mAh battery on the inside of this phone. A 13-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel unit can be found on the front side of the ZenFone 3 Max. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the ZenFone 3 Max, while the company’s ZenUI 3.0 skin comes on top of Google’s operating system.
