OnePlus has made its latest device official. The OnePlus 3T is set to release on November 22 as a mid-year upgrade to the OnePlus 3, featuring many of the same specs but some upgrades thrown in.
The main upgrade of the OnePlus 3T is the Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35GHz, besting the Google Pixel’s 2.15GHz clock of the same chip. Other upgrades include a 16MP front-facing shooter, a 3,400mAh battery, and a choice of 64GB or 128GB of storage. Other specs remain the same.
The new OnePlus 3T starts at $439, which isn’t much more expensive than the original OnePlus 3′s $399 price tag. OnePlus felt that it could offer a better experience to new customers and didn’t want to wait a whole year to roll it out, so a mid-year refresh was in order.
