This is the other concept bike Honda’s Rome R&D group presented at EICMA this year, alongside the CB1100TR. The Africa Twin Enduro Sport concept gets enhanced off-road ability thanks to lighter chassis parts snagged from Honda’s CRF racing models. The Enduro Sports concept, say the Romans, is designed to be “Queen of the Off-Road!”
Revised bodywork, a missing front fender, a robust bash plate, a new windscreen and hand guards protecting a taller dirtbike handlebar are a few of the obvious changes. The lovely Termignoni exhaust likely won’t meet Euro4 emissions regs.
The Africa Twin really impressed us with its off-road prowess during our recent Wire-Wheel Adventure Shootout, so we’d be anxious to test out an A-T modified for greater dirt capabilities like this concept.
