Fleksy has grown to become one of the most popular third-party keyboards on Android as well, and today it’s been acquired.
Today, Fleksy officially announced that Pinterest has acquired the company and that the Fleksy team will be joining Pinterest. Fleksy also announced that they will be launching an open-source project with components for the the blind and visually impaired that the community can contribute to.
No other details regarding the acquisition were released in the blog post, but they did confirm that the Fleksy keyboard will continue to be in digital app stores “for the foreseeable future,” so that’s good news for fans of Fleksy.
