We’ve heard quite often that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with a curved screen like the current Galaxy S7 edge, but what about a flat variant? Every time we see a Samsung “edge” device, it has a flat variant alongside it.
Rumors said that Samsung may not be making one at all to accompany the curved Note 7, and now another source has further confirmed this. For those of you hoping for a regular old flat Note 7, you may not get one. The edge technology has matured significantly and can be useful, though, so it might be worth a try.
