Needless to say, Kia was the talk of the town. Eager audiences gathered at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) to witness the stunning display of our finest models. Under the theme “The Future Wave, Inspiring Technology,” Kia’s 2500 square meter exhibition laid out bright and innovative ideas for the imminent future.

Already established as one of the Kia’s most popular models, the plug-in hybrid version of the Kia K5 (widely known as the Optima in international markets) was revealed to the Korean audience. As Kia’s first PHEV model with the brand’s newly developed plug-in hybrid powertrain, the model boasts the highest class of eco-friendly technology in current day Korean markets.

The sophisticated and stylish aesthetics of the Kia K5 PHEV and the flexibility of its eco-friendly driving modes is expected to appeal to Korean consumers. Streamlining efficiency with intricate and careful designs, the midsize sedan will shake up the markets in Korea, an area that is more and more growing as a hub for hybrid vehicles.

Adding to the growing popularity of the all-new K7 (known in international markets as the Cadenza), Kia has revealed a new and upgraded design for the hybrid counterpart of this deluxe sedan. With new blue-tinted LED headlamps and hybrid-specific wheels on the already handsome body, the new Kia K7 HEV is expected to pique the interest of Korean consumers with its cutting-edge eco-friendly features and breathtaking luxury.

While only the exterior design has been revealed at this time, the new premium eco-friendly sedan is already causing a stir among car enthusiasts.

Revealed for the first time at the 2016 NAIAS, the Kia Telluride has been absent for a while but far from forgotten. Now back at 2016 BIMOS to dazzle the innovation-seeking audiences with its state-of-the-art health and wellness technology, the Kia Telluride concept is shining green – literally and figuratively – on the show floor.

Boasting enormous power and never-before-seen interior wellness features, the interesting functions and unique design of the Telluride concept hints at future possibilities of Kia’s premium large-sized SUVs.

In addition to the three eye-catching models in the spotlight, Kia has an interesting and extensive display of models including the Kia Niro, K5 (Optima) Sportswagon and the Grandbird Silkroad bus.
