According to a new tweet from Jeff Gordon, HTC’s Senior Global Communications Manager, the company is only going to offer the 32Gb version of the HTC 10 in the U.S. market. Other locations will have a 64GB version available for purchase.
Gordon does not offer any explanation as to why HTC is limiting the U.S. market to the 32GB configuration of their newest smartphone. However, he does point out that with support for adaptable storage, users can quickly and easily increase onboard storage through use of a microSD card.
That solution is unlikely to sit well with all potential users as some will prefer internal storage instead of a workaround like use of a microSD card.
@bastien_TX The US is currently only getting the 32GB model. Keep in mind you can cheaply add as much as you'd like with adaptable storage.
