Kia is using the New York International Auto Show to reveal the latest version of the award-winning Cadenza. The 2017 Kia Cadenza new features and updates carry on the success of its predecessors while also offering a staggering array of new technologies.
2017 Kia Cadenza Engine and Performance
At the core of the new Cadenza is a 3.3-liter V6 engine. This engine has been revised for the new model year and offers an estimated 290 horsepower. A new, eight-speed automatic transmission sends the power to the Cadenza’s front wheels. The efficient transmission quickly jumps from gear to gear, maximizing performance.

Kia engineers have placed a great emphasis on engine durability. In order to test the Cadenza’s V6, the engine was left running at full power for 41 consecutive days.
2017 Kia Cadenza Interior Design and Features
The highlight new feature on the 2017 Cadenza is sure to be the Head Up Display (HUD). This great new piece of technology displays vital information, such as vehicle speed and turn-by-turn navigation, onto the windshield in the driver’s line of site in order to minimize eye movement.
Kia continues to pack on the technology features, offering an updated version of the Surround View Monitor. This great system gives the driver a bird’s-eye view of the area around the vehicle to aid with parking and backing up. Kia’s new technology features even extend to the Cadenza’s Smart Truck, which will automatically open if it senses the key fog is nearby for more than 3 seconds. The newest UVO infotainment system features standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
