2016 Kia Sorento Trim Level Features

Overhauled for 2016, the Kia Sorento sits comfortably in the Kia lineup as a people hauler and favorite among families. Able to accommodate five passengers, or up to seven with the third row of seating, there is plenty of leg, hip, and headroom, as well as storage space for cargo.

For 2016, the Kia Sorento is available in five trim levels, which are the L, LX, EX, SX, and SX Limited. To gather a better understanding and see what what each one offers, Briggs Kia will help distinguis what’s included for each of the 2016 Kia Sorento trim level features.

2016 Kia Sorento L

The base-level L begins riding on 17-inch alloy wheels and shows off LED running lights in front for a sophisticated sense of style. Additional standard features to note include:

2016 Kia Sorento LX

The next step up, the LX, improves the overall quality of the ride while also introducing additional technology options.

  • 4.3-inch touchscreen w/ Uvo eServices
  • two rapid-charge USB ports

*Optional Convenience Package: rear parking sensors, eight-way power driver seat, heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and auto-dimming mirror.

2016 Kia Sorento EX

The third trim out of five includes the Convenience Package which is listed above. The Sorento upgrades to 18-inch wheels as well as sound-reducing front side glass. Other improved creature comforts include:

  • dual-zone automatic headlights
  • leather upholstery

*Optional Premium Package: hands-free power liftgate, keyless ignition and entry, power-folding mirrors, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic warning systems.

Combining the above packages that are optional for the EX, the SX model makes these standard while also bumping up to 19-inch wheels and LED taillights to match the headlights. A few other details to mention include:

2016 Kia Sorento SX Limited

Here we arrive at the top-of-the-line with the SX Limited, which flaunts 19-inch chrome-clad wheels. Finesse doesn’t begin to describe the design of the Sorento, where upgraded leather upholstery is included, as well as ventilated front seats and heated second row seats.
