Can-Am has revealed its three-wheeled Spyders for 2016, and the biggest news will please performance-touring riders: Last year’s all-new Spyder F3 is now available in bagger versions: the F3-T and F3 Limited. Can-Am likens the low, aggressive styling of the F3 Spyders to cruisers, but if they’re cruisers they’re clearly performance cruisers. The F3 sits low like a cruiser, but since it rides on three wheels and not two, there’s a performance payoff to the low center of gravity; it invites more aggressive riding and added confidence of control from its feeling of sitting closer to the axles. As a reminder, the F3 Spyder models are powered by the Rotax 1330 ACE inline three-cylinder engine, which is mated to a semi-automatic or manual six-speed transmission that has a motorcycle-style hand clutch and foot shifter. All Can-Am Spyders have stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, dynamic power steering, and reverse, providing the rider with a thinking chassis that cares about your safety. Spyders have a handlebar just like motorcycles, snowmobiles, quads, and personal watercraft, and steer like the last three of those. 
The new-for-2016 Can-Am F3-T and F3 Limited feature cruise control and a total luggage capacity of 21 gallons when you combine the front trunk with the two new integrated saddlebags. The F3-T and Limited also have a center console with a glovebox, and a tinted windscreen for touring comfort. The rear suspension is manually air-adjustable, and the chassis is ready for the optional Can-Am trailer. An audio system is optional on the F3-T, while the F3 Limited has a four-speaker system, not to mention heated grips and floorboards rather than pegs. All of the other 2016 Can-Am Spyder models—RT, ST, and RS—are still available, with minor updates and options choices. PRICING: F3: $19,499: Available only in Black F3-S: $20,999: Added features include a black suede seat with red stitching, trim upgrades, gloss black wheels, color choices, and cruise control. F3-S Special Triple Black Series: $23,549: Additional features are black-on-black-on-black, and even the chrome wheels are black. F3-T: $23,099: Additional features include integrated saddlebags with a 21-gallon capacity, console with a glovebox, tinted windscreen, rear air-adjustable suspension, trailer-ready, and color and audio options. F3 Limited/Limited Special Triple Black Series: $27,249: Features include those of the F3-T plus an MP3-ready four-speaker audio system, heated grips, floorboards, upgraded trim and seat, chrome wheels and trim, three color choices or triple-black.
