Interesting dilemma here. One seller is offering two 1977 Oldsmobile 442s for sale on Hemmings.com – the first of them a seemingly restored W-29 with silver paint and red interior and a base 231-cu.in. V-6; the second unrestored in brown-over-tan but with the 403-cu.in. V-8. Both are perfectly roadable colonnade cars, but for being so similar, they’re also vastly different. Which would you choose? From the seller’s description of the silver car:

This 442 is in good condition for its age. The original owner had it undercoated when new so the floor pans are in excellent shape. It has a new battery and alternator. The Original Window Sticker, Title, Bill of Sale, Invoice and other vehicle documentation are included. The interior is in good shape with the only wear being the front seat bottoms and worn carpet. The engine runs very smoothly and the transmission shifts quietly. I have used this vehicle as my daily driver for the past year and it has never let me down. The body has some rust issues as shown in the pictures.
