Apple and Android have been locked in competition for years now, each one-upping the next with smart phones, tablets, and now vehicle infotainment systems. With your Android smartphone, just download any Android Auto apps. Once your phone is connected to your vehicle, it will go into “car mode” and all of the auto apps on your phone will be displayed on the screen which is located on your vehicle’s dash.
How it Looks:
Android wanted to keep things organized and understandable; that’s why they have taken the familiar layout of an Android phone, and modified it for a vehicle with four primary tabs: navigation, communication, music, and one with information about your vehicle.
What it Can Do:
No matter what vehicle you’re in, even if it’s not your own, as long as your phone is connected to the vehicle being driven, your music and message notifications will appear. You will be able to have your messages read back to you, and respond by using the microphone.
