Over on Flickr, jeffs4653 came across and posted these two November 1974 photos of the United Home Wreckers’s Relic House in Stamford, Connecticut, and of all subjects for a found photo, United Home Wreckers has to be rather appropriate, given that its own business model (at least to start with, 60 years ag0) was based on another form of creative re-use: dismantling homes to be demolished by Interstate 91 construction and in turn salvaging their architectural elements. What do you see here?
