Among his many Honolulu photos for the EPA’s Documerica photo series, Charles O’Rear snapped these three on the same day in October 1973 looking west along H-1 toward downtown Honolulu, likely from the Koko Head Avenue overpass. While some of his other Honolulu photos showed massive traffic backups, these three show a different side of the coin with relatively sparse traffic. What do you see here?
