One of the oddest parts in the BMW Accessories Catalog is the official BMW LED Door Projector.
BMW first introduced the LED projector with the new 2 Series Convertible and official images showed the BMW Roundel being projected onto the ground as you open the door.
But it turns out that the projected image can be changed. A reader of Bimmertoday installed one of those LED projectors and managed to change the image to the ///M logo. The projector uses the standard door entry light which illuminates upon opening the door.
Other images available for the projection are the xDrive logo and the BMW word.
