Wanna Drive an E-type? Jaguar Announces New Heritage Driving Program

1961 Jaguar E-type

If you’ve never driven a vintage Jaguar and you happen to be in Europe, you’ll now be able to head to the brand’s Fen End test track in Warwickshire, England, and sign up to experience some of the marque’s most historic cars for a fee.

There are a ton of options laid out on the Heritage Driving website, and you can opt to put yourself into an XK150, MkII, E-type, all of them among the fastest vehicles of their era. You can also book a spin in a D-type racer, or bigger experiences that include several cars. Passenger rides begin at £95 (about $150), while driving a single classic for a short blast runs £135 ($220). There are more options in between, but the ultimate is a full-day classic-car experience for £2000, or roughly $3200. The metal comes from Jaguar’s recent acquisition of a 543-vehicle British-car collection it purchased in full earlier this year.

Of course, driving new cars is part of the deal, too, including the F-type and the XFR. And whether or not you catch the vintage-car bug, Jaguar will be happy to sell you one of those future classics.
