ADAC GT Masters: Dupré Engineering Motorsport joins the grid for Hockenheim finale

Hockenheim is hosting the finale of the 2014 ADAC GT Msters this weekend. At the front of the field the #10 Prosperia C.ABT Racing squad will be aiming for the 2014 title with drivers Rene Rast and Kelvin van der Linde. Along with the regular Audi Sport customer racing entries, there will be another team debuting their Audi R8 LMS ultra in the series this weekend.


Dupré Engineering Motorsport has entered their newly reliveried Audi R8 LMS ultra for the finale at Hockenheim. The team's R8 LMS ultra has been seen competing in the DMV TCC this year with Christoph Dupré behind the wheel.

The #33 Audi R8 LMS ultra entry will be driven by Christoph Dupré and Thomas Schöffler.

DMV TCC: Three Audi R8 LMS ultra cars at the season opener in the Czech Republic

The DMV Touring Car Challenge (DMV TCC) got underway at Brno in the Czech Republic this weekend. Three Audi R8 LMS ultra cars took part, fielded by three different teams.

“spirit-race” entered two Audi R8 LMS ultra cars for Dietmar Haggenmüller (#8) and Suzanne Weidt (#88), the same drivers and cars who were seen under the team name of RS Tuning last year.

The third Audi was that of DUPRÉ Motorsport, who debuted their new Audi R8 LMS ultra with Christoph Dupré (#89) behind the wheel. All three Audi R8 LMS ultra cars were entered in the TCC Kl.8 class.



Race one concluded with an overall top five finish for Dupré, placing fourth in class. The two “spirit-race” Audi R8 LMS ultra cars finished eighth and ninth in class, Haggenmüller ahead of Weidt.

The second race again saw Dupré finishing in fifth overall, taking fourth in class. Weidt finished seventh in class and Haggenmüller unfortunately retired.

The German DMV TCC will be hosting round two at Zandvoort, 30-31 May.

DMV TCC: Audi R8 LMS ultra for DUPRÉ Motorsport

DUPRÉ Motorsport has become one of the latest Audi Sport customer racing teams. The German team has acquired an Audi R8 LMS ultra and debuted the car in the DMV TCC this weekend.


A new Audi R8 LMS ultra joined the DMV TCC grid at Brno in the Czech Republic this weekend, where the German series hosted its opening round for 2014.

Christoph Dupré was behind the wheel of the #89 DUPRÉ Motorsport Audi R8 LMS ultra.

During 2013 the team competed with an Audi RS 5 quattro, having taken part in the VLN, Nürburgring 24 Hours and one race of the DMV TCC.

DMV TCC: Suzanne Weidt Audi R8 LMS ultra back in Austria

The German DMV Touring Car Challenge was in Austria this weekend, hosting round six at the Red Bull Ring. The RS Tuning Audi R8 LMS ultra was entered at the event.

This weekend marked the second appearance of the white and orange RS Tuning Audi R8 LMS ultra in the DMV TCC, after Suzanne Weidt debuted the car at Hockenheim a few weeks ago.

Suzanne Weidt was again behind the wheel of the #8 Audi in Austria. The car continues to run with the original 2013 rear diffuser, as has been the case for all the 2013 Audi R8 LMS ultra cars which have competed in the DMV TCC this season. The car was also entered in the AvD 100 Meilen races at the Red Bull Ring, where it compete with the #88 on its side.


In Austria there was more than just one Audi on the DMV TCC gird. Two more Audi teams joined the series for this event. The first entrant was Joachim Duscher, a regular STT competitor, in his ex-ROC Audi 80. The second team was Christoph Düpré in the Düpré Motorsport Audi RS 5, which has also been seen in the VLN and Nürburgring 24 Hours this year.

Qualifying for the first race saw Weidt in twenty-fifth place overall, Duscher in twenty-ninth and Düpré in fortieth. The grid for the second race saw Weidt in nineteenth overall, twenty-sixth for Duscher and thirty-ninth for Düpré.

Suzanne Weidt was the highest ranked Audi during the races, achieving twenty-third overall in race one. Duscher finished raced one in twenty-sixth (first in class).

Round seven of the DMV TCC will head to France in September, which will be hosted at Dijon.

VLN: Audi RS 5 quattro has debuted at the Nurburgring Nordschleife

The second round the VLN Endurance Series (first race of the season) at the Nürburgring had a very exciting debut. A privately built and run Audi RS 5 quattro made its first ever appearance in the Nordscheife based long distance championship.

The car is from Dupré Motorsport and entered in the SP8 class, open for cars with 4000cc up to 6250cc. The Audi RS 5 quattro was driven by Christoph and Klaud Dupré, carrying the number 130. Visually the Dupré machine has a similar appearance to the Italian built RS 5 quattro from Audi Sport Italia in the Superstars Series.
