Where is the 2019 Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade?
Every year, once March starts people throughout Chicago begin to pull out their green attire and stock up on Guinness beer and Jameson whiskey in anticipation of Saint Patrick’s Day. Of course, prior to going out and bar-hopping your favorite Irish pubs, we recommend taking some time to check out the 2019 Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade!
Like every year, the Parade will feature a dyed-green Chicago River for an added element of festivity. We’ll walk you through when and where you can experience the parade:
The 2019 Chicago Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will begin at 12 pm sharp, with the beginning of its route at the corner of Balbo Ave and Columbus Drive. It will travel north on Columbus Drive and end on Monroe Street.

2019 Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade Time
This year, St. Patrick’s Day is on Sunday, March 17. However, to make things easier for attendees, the parade will be held on Saturday, March 16, beginning at noon.
If you’re interested in an authentic Irish St. Patrick’s Day experience, the Irish-American Heritage Center will be hosting their annual St. Patrick’s Day festival, which will feature traditional Irish dancing, gifts, food, drink, and family activities.
