Best Buy kicked off its pre-Black Friday sales period this morning by dropping the price of the Lenovo Smart Display 8″ by $100. That price drop essentially makes this Google Assistant speaker half off at $99.
I probably don’t need to tell you that, but that’s a steal. The Lenovo Smart Display was one the first of the smart displays and it’s pretty good. In our review of the 10″ model, I was pretty clear in the fact that I was buying one for myself because I like the visual interactions you get when controlling things like your smart home. It’s also pretty nice as mini TV wherever you have it setup and a photo viewer.
Don’t forget, it also just picked up a major update with even more controls over smart home items.
At $99, why wouldn’t you?
