Earlier this year, Samsung Mobile CEO DJ Koh said that the company plans on showing off its first foldable smartphone in November during the company’s developer conference.
While Koh was more than willing to say the company will show off the upcoming device at the conference, that’s about all the executive was able to say at the time. We don’t know what Samsung Mobile is going to show off, because there is some speculation that it will be the software Samsung plans on running on the dual-screen device.
It’s also possible we see a prototype for the hardware as well. Whatever the company is planning, the folks behind-the-scenes are obviously excited about it. Which is why they’re starting to tease what’s coming down the line.
The official Samsung Mobile Twitter account sent out a quick video teasing “Where now meets next” and confirming the November 7 and November 8 dates for the upcoming developer conference. We also get to see an animation of a dual-screen device, too.
Here’s the tweet:

While Samsung is teasing its dual-screen, foldable device for its big debut next month, the general consensus seems to be that it won’t actually launch before the end of the year. Samsung is just preparing the world for what’s coming. Are you looking forward to the company’s first foldable smartphone?
